How much randomness makes an entry?

For what it's worth, here is some hodgepodge of the recent week:

I'm having a hard time getting back into things since returning from Madagascar. Haven't quite been able to re-establish a good routine. Nuria and I have resumed our daily walks, and that helps somewhat. Still, I have sewing to do, jewelry to make (and yes, photograph:P), art to create, and a book to edit, not to mention a house to clean.  What would I do if I had a "job" as well?

The other night, I got stung on the back by a baby centipede (a gray-bodied one with red legs; that's a first). It was hiding in the loofah and slipped out while I was scrubbing away. After stinging me, it slid in the soap suds to my feet and I realized the ouchie on my back wasn't from me inadvertently scratching myself. Of the three bites I've now had, it hurt the least.

We've been having computer problems...again. This time, it is both the desktop and the laptop. One won't even start (thank goodness we backed up the photos to the external HD before erasing them from the camera's memory cards) and the other is dragging and won't start Yahoo messenger. Just keeps giving me a message about the image not being a valid Windows image or some such. I'm trying to reinstall it, but every time I do, I lose the net connection.

We have another cherry tomato growing. Wow, that makes a production of four for five plants. Really worth all the water we give the darned things.

I'm sick. I don't know what it is going to evolve into, but Monday night I had a stuffy head that stayed mild but annoying until yesty afternoon when my throat suddenly erupted in pain. That was followed by head-to-toe achiness so severe I thought I was going to throw up when J tried to massage me and random flashes of nausea, pain in my left shoulder, and extreme fatigue.

Yikes. You have a pretty high bug tolerance, don't you? I'd be eyeing my loofah suspiciously forever after that.

Sorry to hear about the sick - sounds awfully uncomfortable! Be better soon!

Yeah, little critters don't bother me much as long as they leave me alone (the centipedes just don't seem to want to though).

Thanks for the well-wishes.

Awwww.... Bug bites, computer problems, head not where it needs to be and now sickness. You're not having a good time, are you?

I doubt that the cherry tomato makes up for it, but I hope it lessens the gloom a little :)

Things are much better today. I'm feeling almost 100%. Let's hope the rugby game goes to plan (ie, in our favor) ;) and I'll stay on top of the world.

It's that an oblique way of telling me that you want England to lose? *g*

Yellow card for Australia n°5!
bwahaha. Not at all. Today is North vs South. England and France have to beat those southern hemisphere teams! England is playing with a lot of heart so far. Let's hope the second half...er final score reflects that.

Re: Yellow card for Australia n°5!
They're doing okay, aren't they? Johnny's having a bit of a wobble, though.

Latham should definitely have had 10 minutes in the bin, though.

Right, I'm taking a deep breath and getting back to it. See you later!

Re: Triumph for the "Quinze de la Rose"!
I think we'll need all the fingers AND the toes crossed for this one. O.O

You were saying???

Obviously, you kept them all crossed then!

See you in the semis ;-)

Ah, man, I've never had such a tummy ache while watching a match. They made us work for it!

See you in the semis...may the bleue team...er, the best win. ;o)

I would have to move if I had things crawling out of my stuff to bite me...

Yeah, that is a pretty sucky thing about Mayotte. At least I seem to have a pretty good tolerance for the bites. Apparently, lots of other people have more severe reactions. Must be all those bits from fire ants when I was small that toughened me up. :P

bitEs, even. :P
