It's MINE, all MINE, and, er,...

mana_trini's too, of course. But the painting! The painting! It is OURS! Woot. And Marcel decided to make us a deal on a second study, too. So that's--count them--three pieces that will soon be in my clutches.

In other news, J and I went up to check B&N's house (we spend a few minutes, change the lights around, turn off/on the tv, etc. every few days while they are away in France and Spain) and took our harmonicas to practice on their terrace while watching the sunset. Poor neighbors. I've always loved the harmonica and have wanted to play for ages. But, like with so many things, I find other things to while I should be practicing. I guess I should be easier on myself. I can't do *everything* at once. But 15-30 minutes a day or every other day should be manageable.

I don't think I mentioned that we finally broke down and got a hot water heater. It is nice not to dread showers any more, and who knows? Maybe I'll start getting ideas in the shower/tub again. However, with a 30L heater, I don't think I'll be taking my baths.

frigg, I'm sad to report the skink did not make it. (For those not in the know, I performed emergency surgery on a lizard, whose guts had been ripped out by my cats. I disinfected and stuffed them back in. Alas, the trauma was too much for it.)
