Anyhow, I just opened Scrivener and wrote the following (Good thing we do snippets here and not darlings):
Sola left Tiqoa’s shop and headed for the harbor. The bronze disk on top of the Traders Meet was aglow with reflected dawn light, signaling that offislanders were allowed ashore. If Trader Gorious was as eager as Tiqao made him out to be, he could already be in a waverunner, on his way to the dock. Not that there was any point in rising so early; husbands never started trading before the sun topped the sea cliffs that guarded the harbor entrance.
