A moment of your time, please.

I have a friend in the south of France who has a bed and breakfast, and she would like to improve her google results to attract more tourists from around the world. She asked me how I would search for a place to stay on the net. While I know how I would search, I'm afraid I can't really give her unbiased feedback because I've lived in France since 2001.

Anyhow, I figured I'd get a bigger response if I asked help in the form of a poll, but I'm afraid of slanting my questions. If you would be so kind, please leave any additional thoughts/tips in the comments.

Poll #1356551 How can we get more people to Le Manoir?

You want to take a trip to France. How do you go about organizing your lodgings?

I live in the Stone Age and do everything through a brick-and-mortar travel agency. My travel agent's word and suggestions are law for me.

I go through an online service like Expedia, Orbitz, etc. where I can take care of lodging, transportation, and so forth all in one go.
4(50.0%)
I google "cheap international airfare," "hotels, Paris" etc. and build my own itinerary.

If you use an online trip booker, which one do you use?

Expedia

Um, Miquela, you suck and have been gone too long. You don't even know the name of the right businesses, but never fear, I'll tell you in the comments.

I know of/have heard of the following and would use them when searching for a place to stay in the south of France:

Cassis
0(0.0%)
Marseille
1(12.5%)
Provence
0(0.0%)
the Mediterranean
0(0.0%)
Bouches-du-Rhône
0(0.0%)
Other, which I will expound upon in the comments because, you know, you were right: You don't know anything!

When searching for lodgings, I would use the following terms in the search engine:

lodging in the south of France
0(0.0%)
bed and breakfasts in the south of France
4(57.1%)
bed and breakfasts/lodgings/hotel near Cassis
0(0.0%)
bed and breakfasts/lodgings/hotel around Marseille

Sheesh, Miquela, you are missing the obvious. Let me tell you what it is in the comments...

(Please only answer this one if you actually do it) I just did my own search, my own way, and the top five sites I turned up were:

<input ... >

If you (very kindly, I might add) answer the last question,  please don't use "le Manoir" in your search. I want to see if people can find my friend's site without knowing the name of her b&b.

Thanks so much!!!
